Good News Story

Local Officers commenced the forces Junior Cadet program at Blessed Mother Theresa Primary School yesterday 28th February, the course runs once a week over 5 weeks for the Year 5 children. During the hour long sessions we give the students an insight into policing and deliver some important safety messages as well as having lots of fun while learning these. Topics include Road Safety, what to do in an emergency & staying safe as well as enjoying trying out and engaging with the kit we use. Our session on Forensics is always a firm favourite but yesterday kicked off with a very exciting visit from one of our trained drone officers & DGI drones, with the children enjoying a game of hide and seek with a difference.
